Who is the High Desert Stampede?
The High Desert Stampede is locally produced by a 6-person committee and dozens of volunteers. Our goal is to bring the biggest names in rodeo to Central Oregon providing a top tier performance that draws people into Central Oregon from out of the area.
What will the week of the rodeo look like?
The High Desert Stampede has daily activities and appearances planned throughout the week of spring break. Athletes will be available out in the community and prior to each rodeo performance. Watch our website or Facebook page for updates.
What can fans expect each night?
Each family friendly night, fans will want to come early to get an autograph during the pre-show meet and greet, meet local rodeo royalty and browse our vendor expo.
All traditional rodeo events including bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping and barrel racing will be featured in a fast paced rodeo performance.
Where will the rodeo be held?
The High Desert Stampede will host two nights of non-stop rodeo competition, March 29 & 30 at the Bank of the Cascades Center. Performance starts at 7:00 p.m. and doors open at 5:00 p.m.
